The world’s fittest grandmother celebrated her 83rd birthday. Ernestine Shepherd is born in 1936 on the 16th of June. She did not start working out until she turned 56 years.
She starts moving at half-past two in the morning. She does the meditation and devotionals before she has breakfast rich in protein. Then, she goes to run.
She goes weight-lifting at half-past seven at the gym and then she teaches workout classes. She finishes at half-past eleven. Then, she goes to have lunch at home and a nap. Then she goes again to the gym and she trains persons of different ages. She does that from half-past five to seven pm.
She started doing fitness together with her sister. Her sister’s name was Velvet. They had a wish to get into Guinness Book of Records as the most mature and the oldest sisters-bodybuilders in the world.
They started working out, but unfortunately, her sister Velvet died from a brain aneurysm. So Ernestine promised her that she will get to the Guinness Book of Records.
For a while, Ernestine was depressed and she did not take care of herself. She had problems with high blood pressure, but then she got on track to accomplish the promise to her sister.
She now is part of the Guinness Book of World Records and she is the oldest bodybuilder in the whole world.
Her secret of success is that she never gives up.
