-Insulin plants

However, the people have discovered the benefits for the health and it is used in the Ayurvedic medicine.

-Bitter Melons

This plant grows in hot climates. Some claim that this is the best natural remedy against diabetes.

This means that the plant is acting as a kind of substitute insulin. Moreover, there are a lot of ways to consume this plant. You can consume it as a capsule, a tea or as a fruit.

– Okra

Some studies have been carried out in Bangladesh and Taiwan and they have found that the levels of cholesterol and sugar in rats that suffer from diabetes have been improved by the okra that they consumed.

Another study in China has found that there were some improvements in the function of the kidneys in people that suffer from diabetes after they consumed extract from okra.

It is easy to prepare the okra by yourself.  You should cut off the top part, put the pods in water over the night and in the morning you should squeeze the okra in water and consume this natural remedy.

– Blueberries

This delicious fruit is great at lowering the blood sugar level. A study made by the University of Michigan in 2009 found that the blueberries are good to lower the blood glucose levels and they also have other benefits for your health.

They also reduce the triglycerides and the cholesterol. They are also reducing the body fat.

The blueberries have a phytochemical content and this also gives the color of the plant. The plants that have dark color have a lot of phytochemicals and this allows them to be  a natural healer.
