We all feel different emotions: sadness, joy, happiness, depression etc. Every single one of them makes a different environment because our body releases different chemicals which are based on emotions.
If our body releases oxytocin, dopamine or serotonin, we’ll feel satisfied and happy. In case we are depressed or stressed, out body has released cortisol.
How negative and positive thoughts affect our body? Today, we’re going to discuss that.
Negative vs. Positive
Are we just defining things as negative or positive or they are truly like that? We might be spending too much time considering what is negative and what is positive. Our brain is very powerful.
For example, when you get cut off while you’re driving, you’re probably going to move on or maybe get angry. It depends on the way someone is looking at things in their life.
Decrease Your Perceptions As Much As Possible
Actually, everything is about perception. There are no negative or positive experiences. We have the power over some situation because of our perception. It also has an effect over our body.
We need to understand how some emotions affect our health. Hippocrates once said that in case we’re ill, we first need to understand the reasons that made us ill. Only that will help us find the proper cure and be healthy.
The Connection Between Our Body And Mind
Our body and mind are strongly connected even though we can’t see that. If we have a positive mental attitude, we’ll create a healthy and happy lifestyle, while if our thoughts are negative, we’ll have an unhealthy lifestyle.
Feeling pain in some areas often means that you’re dealing with an emotional issue. You might think it’s strange that some emotion might cause your pain in the neck, knees, back or shoulders, but allowing yourself to relax will give you the much needed relief. Try some physio work or just exercise.
You have to learn how to process your illness and emotions very quickly. You have to get to the bottom of what’s causing that.
For example, if you think or feel that you’re likely to become sick, you might end up being sick. It’s all about your perception and control over the situation!
