We all love to eat sweet things. However, sugar can cause a lot of health issues. If we cut back on sugar, we can prevent some diseases such as:

Only ten percents of the calories that we consume should come from sugar. That is approximately 12 grams.
Added sugars can be under a lot of different labels and names, so watch out. They can be under the following names:
- Dehydrated cane juice
- Cane sugar
- Glucose solids
- Beet sugar
- Corn syrup
- High fructose corn syrup
