If you are dealing with a narcissist, you should know that this is a terrible human and they are capable of a lot of bad things.
These six things show you that you are dealing with a person like this:
- He/she uses the other to his/her advantage
A narcissist will always take advantage of the people around him/her. They will find some way to manipulate the other person and also his/her friends or family.
- They are in need of praise all the time
Narcissists need approval from everyone all the time. They need attention and they have a great need for validation of other people.
- They are really arrogant with everyone and everything
They are really arrogant. That is more expressed when they are confronted with the things they do that hurt other people. They consider those things as personal attacks and they will blame you that you never support them and that you are probably the worst human being in this world.
Narcissists are really toxic persons.
- They are jealous
They do not hesitate to show their jealousy if they see a thing that they do not have. Narcissists hate when someone is far beyond their league. They are really annoyed when they know that someone/something can get more attention.
- If you have feelings- that is your own fault
If you confront them for the things they did- the narcissist will brush that off. If they see any feelings or emotions which go against the things they want, they will blame you and they will say that it is not their fault, but it is yours.
They do not have sympathy or empathy for the persons around them.
- They always over exaggerate their own accomplishment
They boast about the things they did. They use every moment to speak good things about themselves. This is a great indication that you have to deal with a narcissist.
When you speak with a narcissist, he/she will talk all the time, you may not have the opportunity to speak.
The next time when you talk to a person and you are not sure if he/she is a narcissist, think about these things.
